Records consist of articles of incorporation, 1891, 1933; constitution, 1923, 1933; minutes of the Board of Trustees, Home Committee, and general meetings, 1899-1957; file of historical notes and essays, 1940, 1948; president's report, 1948-1949; and records of the corresponding secretary, 1939-1957. Also included are yearbooks, 1918-1955, with some gaps, which describe programs given by the Society such as "The Pursuit of Happiness in the Scheme of Education," 1918-1919; "Women of Achievement in History," 1949-1950; and "Our Federal Government," 1927-1928; also programs on art, literature, and concerts.
